FistUpTv embodies the true spirit of Hip Hop, which is to build something that is powerful and useful out of what is seemingly impossible. We continue to amplify the voices of the people who refuse to be silenced, ignored and cut off from the larger society. We create and present films that inspire discussion and foster understanding. By placing emphasis on the connected experiences between global and local communities, we create visual parallels between people’s lived experiences and stories from around the world.

Our work centers social justice and we believe that storytelling can help us imagine the world that we want to create together.
